Shield started adding +10% springs in the mags to address a loading issue. I'm not sure how to tell which spring is installed, if one doesn't have both to compare, the +10% is longer. Okay so I just bought a 43X MOS to replace my Gen 5 Glock 19 as my EDC. It’s having some interesting issues that my 19 never had. I’ve included some videos. This could all be “normal” but it doesn’t seem that way. First, it just sounds gross and dry and like it’s grinding anytime I rack the slide.

They have a 43 and a 48, and if you swap the slides, you have a 43x. Im usually more into the longer barrel and shorter grip for a carry gun, but a lot of people like longer grip and shorter barrel, so they sell that.Process goes like this: safety check, field strip, removing slide from receiver. The serial numbers wont match. 2. I am worried that the finish on my G43 slide wont be as nice as a new G43X. 3. The front slide serrations are not there. I really like the look of them on the G43X. 4. The G43 slide is not beveled so it wont match the new G43X frame I'm getting. Today, after cleaning my G43X, I routinely tested the firing pin, as per spec. To test, one pushes down the firing pin safety with one's finger and lightly shakes the slide front to rear. The firing pin should easily move back and force and protrude through the hole in the breach face for 1/16th of an inch or so. It did not.That 5.5lb OEM trigger should have no striker problem at all. Browning ammo is not what i would call a good grade ammo. Its made by winchester, which is usually garbage ammo. Many complaints with winchester range ammo.
