Jeep jk running hot.

Kept getting 0301 and 0306 codes and a rough idle after changing plugs coil packs. Also purchased 1 injector to try and locate a common cylinder issue. Still throwing the check engine light with same cylinder misfires coded. Pulled the plugs and regapped them .005-.007 over and a miracle occurred.2017 Jeep Wrangler overheating. Your EVIC should show actual coolant temps. But to answer your question; yes, the 3.6 runs hot. Apparently that is where it is most efficient and happy.

I’ve had it tested by 2 different mechanic shops for the head gasket issue and both said it’s fine. I’ve changed everything. These headlights appear to have integrated Daytime Running Lights (3 LEDs under the main LED unit) but I have not figured out how they operate.It does nothing when the key is turned, besides turn the radio/ac on. Mine was starting to leak, and liquid was living in the valley of the engine. Typical O2 sensor service life is about 100,000-150,000 miles. Replace the coolant temperature sensor on the thermostat housing.It was not my intent to dredge up all the old transmission temperature issues on the JK.
